BILLINGSGATE ON THE THAMES. 1859. Kennedy 47viii. Etching, 152 x 228 mm (6 x 9"), plus full margins. A fine impression, slightly toned, especially on verso. Part of Sixteen Etchings on the Thames, known as "The Thames Set." As published in The Portfolio, 1878.

Billingsgate was the main wharf for fishing boats; the fish market is shown at left.
