THE MUSICAL CONTEST BETWEEN APOLLO AND THE SATYR MARSYAS, after Parmigianino.1724. B. XII.173.33. Chiaroscuro woodcut from four blocks, mustard, rose, tan and dark brown. 220 x 147 mm (8 11/16 x 5 13/16") trimmed outside the borderline and mounted, with a line in gold ruled around the outer edge of the woodcut. Fine impression with unfaded colors, in very good condition.
