James McNeill Whistler (1834 - 1903)

THE PALACES, BRUSSELS. 1887. Kennedy 361 i (of ii). Etching and drypoint printed in dark brown ink with plate tone. Signed with the butterfly on the tab, and inscribed "imp" in pencil. A fine first state impression in very good condition, except for a tiny nick at the lower right edge of the paper.
