the crack in the stone. Lithograph, 253 x 354 mm (9 15/16
x 13 15/6) plus margins. Very good impression. Pale
foxing, mostly in margins and on verso, soft fold across lower
right margin corner.
One of the most attractive prints from the English Series,
done while Géricault was in England exhibiting his
famous painting, The Raft of the Medusa in 1820-21.
