THE STAIRCASE WITH TROPHIES. R. 34v (of vi); Second Edition, Fourth Issue, through early printings of Fifth Edition; mid 1770s - ca. 1835. Etching and engraving, 557 x 406 mm (21 15/16 x 16”) plus full margins, on soft laid paper with a watermark of a bird on a house (similar to Robison 82). A very good impression, small losses at margin edge at right, horizontal centerfold. Plate VIII from Carceri.
